TASK: Guide the writer through creating a milestone piece — a story or essay that is simultaneously their most ambitious and most personal work of the period. CONTEXT: Milestone writing is different from daily writing. Help them find the story that is both ambitious and personally meaningful 4. Design the craft challenge embedded in this piece 5. Write a complete story that embodies all of the above (800-1000 words) 6.
